Gifted Kids is a learning-support centre, not a conventional international school. Start by discussing individual learning, communication, daily living skills and routines. If school placement is part of your plans, that is considered separately.

Gifted Kids Care Centre works in collaboration with Pine Hills International School. Where appropriate, families can explore a possible school pathway alongside the child’s learning and readiness.
School admission is considered separately by Pine Hills, based on the child’s needs, readiness and available support. Enrolling at Gifted Kids does not guarantee a school place.

Is Gifted Kids a special needs school?
Gifted Kids Care Centre provides individualised learning and participation support in Kuala Lumpur. It is a care and learning-support centre, rather than a conventional school. It works in collaboration with Pine Hills International School; any school admission is a separate decision.
Can we enquire about learning support for autism or ADHD?
Yes. Start with the learning, communication or daily routines you would like support with. A diagnosis alone does not determine programme suitability. The team needs to understand the child’s individual needs before discussing an appropriate next step. The enquiry is not a medical diagnosis or a promise of therapy.
Do we need a diagnosis before getting in touch?
You can begin with your observations and questions. Share a brief description of what is going well and what feels difficult. Please ask the team for an appropriate channel before sending reports or sensitive records.
What happens before we decide to enrol?
Begin with an enquiry or request a visit. Discuss your child’s needs, the proposed support, how progress would be reviewed, programme fees and current availability. Take time to understand the arrangement before making a decision.
Is this the same as a medical assessment or therapy service?
No. This page describes learning and participation support. An educational or developmental discussion does not replace a medical diagnosis. If you are looking for a particular clinical therapy, ask the team to clarify whether that service is available before booking.
Can expatriate families start before moving to Malaysia?
Yes. Begin with an enquiry about your plans for Kuala Lumpur. Confirm programme suitability, availability and any language arrangements with the team before making travel or relocation commitments.
How can we compare learning-support programmes?
Ask who would work with your child, what their role and relevant qualifications are, which goals would be prioritised and how progress would be discussed. Ask for the proposed schedule, fees and what is included before deciding. A programme name alone does not establish whether the support is a good fit.
Can we discuss support alongside an international school?
Yes, you can ask about your current or planned school arrangement. Gifted Kids and school admission are separate decisions. Discuss attendance, the support needed and what coordination may be possible; do not assume that a school place or school-based support is included.
